Rider Alert!!!

Bridge Street Bridge will be CLOSED!

This will affect the following routes:  Route 3 - Northside and Route 5 - Corning Coopers Gang Mills.

Rehab on the Bridge Street bridge will begin on April 1, 2019 and is expected to continue until October 31,2019. The plans are for Bridge Street to be closed at Front Street on the southern side of the bridge and Riverside on the northside. Unfortunately, this will affect: Northside- Route 3 and Coopers Plains/Gang Mills/Painted Post- Route 5- mainly the amount of access to Wegman’s on Bridge Street and Pulteney between Bridge and South Buffalo.

The affects will be as follows:

Route 3 - Northside -This route will no longer service Wegman’s on the way to the transit center.

Route 5 - Corning Coopers Gang Mills This route will now travel from the transit center to Wegman’s to South Buffalo Street via Route 352 and onto Pulteney Street, where it will continue its normal route. It will then service the section of Pulteney street from South Buffalo Street to Centerway on its return to the transit center. No additional fare will be charged for those wishing to go to Wegman’s on the return trip.

A new timepoint schedule, along with a map of the route deviation, will be posted on the buses and extra copies will be carried by the operators for those who wish to obtain one. This information can also be obtained by visiting Northside - Route 3 schedule page, Coopers Plains/Gang Mills/Painted Post- Route 5 or by contacting dispatch at 607-734-5211 We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but hope to still provide the same excellent service.

Thank you, First Transit Staff
